01 / Our beginning
A cherished watch.
A new beginning.
Our story began with a customer and an old Rolex. The wish was simple: a new strap that would allow a treasured timepiece to be worn and enjoyed again.
That request led us to leather strap making. In 2016, VINCHHADA opened its atelier in Korea, bringing a growing passion for watches to the craft of leatherwork.
We believe a strap does more than hold a watch. It gives a familiar timepiece a fresh expression, while keeping the memories that make it yours.

Leather with its own character
Texture, colour and feel give each leather its personality. We choose materials with the finished strap in mind, balancing the look of the watch with the comfort of everyday wear.

Made by hand, with intention
Cutting, shaping, stitching and finishing are all part of our craft. Our saddle stitching uses two needles, while careful edge work brings the layers together in a clean, finished line.
It is patient work, guided by the hands and attention of our makers.
03 / The making
Twelve steps. One considered strap.
Our process moves from the first selection of leather to the final finish, with care at every stage.
Steps 01–04
Select & prepare
Leather selection, precise cutting, skiving and reinforcement establish the strap's shape and structure. Each layer has a role in the finished piece.
Steps 05–08
Build & shape
Bonding and hammering bring the layers together. Trimming refines the silhouette, and sanding prepares the edges for a smooth finish.
Steps 09–12
Stitch & finish
Stitch preparation and hand saddle stitching are followed by edge creasing and repeated coats of edge paint. Small details complete the work.
