The Story of VINCHHADA
One day, a customer brought in an old Rolex watch and expressed their desire to preserve the precious timepiece, requesting a new strap.
This request inspired us to specialize in leather strap crafting, and in 2016, the VINCHHADA leather atelier opened its doors in Korea.
As we grew, we became more deeply immersed in watch research, and through that journey, we discovered our true passion.
We realized that watch straps are not merely products but rather something that breathes life into watches, offering memories and happiness. Through building trust and communication with our customers, we have established ourselves as the leading manufacturer of handmade leather watch straps in Korea.

Production Process
VINCHHADA's watch straps are completed through a meticulous 12-step production process. Each step is carefully managed to ensure the highest quality.
- Leather Selection: We use only the finest leather, carefully selected for quality.
- Cutting the Leather: The selected leather is precisely cut into strap-sized pieces.
- Leather Skiving: Skilled artisans thin the leather to the appropriate thickness.
- Reinforcement: The straps are reinforced with a three-layer structure consisting of the main leather layer, the lining layer (Zermatt), and the reinforcing layer (Vildona).
- Bonding: We use Italian Intercom spray bond to adhere the leather layers.
- Hammering: The leather, reinforcement, and lining are hammered into a single cohesive piece.
- Trimming: The leather is accurately trimmed with a specialized knife.
- Edge Sanding: The edges are smoothed with fine sandpaper.
- Creasing: The leather is diagonally creased and hammered for saddle stitching.
- Saddle Stitching: Our straps are hand-stitched with two needles using the saddle stitch method.
- Creasing the Edges: Decorative lines are embossed with hot tools to enhance edge durability.
- Edge Coating: The edges are painted at least three times to achieve a perfect finish.
